Beginning Sept. 1, the Log Cabin Democrat will initiate a fee for publishing engagements, weddings and anniversaries in the Sunday, Our Style section.

Wedding announcements: The first 500 words will print for $50. Any words over the first 500, will print for 30 cents per word.

Those wishing to have photos published with their announcement, may do so for an extra $5 handling fee.
