Jim A. Hoggard

Jim A. Hoggard, 58, of Conway, died Wednesday (Dec. 3, 2003) at Conway Regional Medical Center.

Born Dec. 14, 1944, in Lonoke, he was a son of the late James A. and Annie Lightfoot Hoggard, and he was the owner of Jim A. Hoggard Financial Services, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church where he was the Sunday School superintendent. He was a former mayor of Conway.

Survivors are his wife, Susan S. Hoggard; a son, Jay Hoggard of Conway; four daughters, Misty Young of Mount Vernon, Cherish Hoggard of Little Rock, Hillary Simmons of Mount Vernon and Haven Hoggard of Little Rock; seven grandchildren; and two sisters, Peggy Keller of Lonoke and Betty Keller of Lake Village.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday at Grace United Methodist Church with Dr. Robert Crossman officiating.

Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to University of Central Arkansas athletics or the Grace United Methodist Church music department.
