Burglaries during the Thanksgiving holidays resulted in a suspect being arrested before the residents knew they had been victimized, according to police reports.
Dylan Thomas Murphy, 23, of South Ash Street was arrested Friday on suspicion of burglary.
Katie Barr and Juli Stoyanov of Erbach Street reported Sunday that someone entered the home during the Thanksgiving holidays and took $5,065 worth of items, including an Apple Notebook laptop computer, Dell laptop and printer.
Brittney Davis and SammyJo Burris, of another address on South Ash Street, also reported Sunday that someone entered their apartment and removed several items.
The Conway Police Department also recently investigated the following incidents.
Thefts
Jerry Case of J.R. Drive reported Thursday that he loaned a pull trailer to someone and has not gotten it back. It was valued at $850.
Wendy Chambers of Conway reported Thursday that two large planters in front of Nabholz on Merriman Street were stolen. They were valued at $700.
Fraud
Duane Kessie of Ohio reported that he sold items on eBay and received a $427 check from a Conway woman on an account shown to be closed.
Danny E. Mann of Maplewood Drive reported Friday that he had recently opened an account with a New York bank and noticed an attempt to wire $100,000 from First State Bank in Conway. He was later told that someone from Pennsylvania changed his address online and there was a charge for $1,047.
Arrests
George Ranwell Mwenisongole, 27, of Washington Avenue was arrested after a traffic stop Thursday on a felony hot check warrant out of Sherwood.
Jacqueline Harward, 20, of Meadowlake Drive was arrested Tuesday at the Conway Police Department on suspicion of forgery in the second degree.
DWI
A 17-year-old Greenbrier High School student was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop in which police chased the suspect from Fendley Drive to Walgreens on Oak Street.
