The 28th annual Pancake Breakfast, silent auction, craft sale and bake sale will be held from 7 a.m. to noon on Dec. 6 at the Conway Senior Citizen's Center, 1620 Donaghey.
Debra Robinson, executive director of the senior programs in Faulkner County said the menu will include: all you can eat pancakes, sausage, juice, coffee or milk. Last year, more than 2000 pancakes were served. For the past two years, IHOP has furnished the pancake batter and will again this year.
The Craft Sale will be held in the north room of the center, separate from the breakfast area. It will feature more items that ever before. Our ladies have been working for months preparing for this event. The popular Sweet Shoppe features pies, cakes, breads, cookies and candies made by some of the best cooks in Conway.
We will also be having a silent auction. Some of the items up for bid will be: Branson show tickets, tickets to the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, Premier Jewelry, gift baskets galore, autographed Ken Hatfield football, decorated Christmas tree, lamps, one membership and eight 30 minute personal training sessions to Conway Regional Health and Fitness Center and lots of gift certificates to grocery stores and many Conway restaurants. These are just a few of the items that will be up for bid.
The Pancake Breakfast and Craft Sale is the Center's biggest fund-raiser of the year. It allows the general public to support the six Senior Centers in the County which makes available a wide variety of services.
