Melbourne player commits to Lehigh

Patrick Davidson, a 6-foot-1 senior guard from Melbourne High School, has committed to play basketball for Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
He is a son of Suellen Wilcox Davidson of Conway and a grandson of Ken and Ruth Wilcox of Conway.
He averaged 24 points, nine rebounds, four assists and one blocked shot in his junior season at Melbourne, which finished 29-7 and was a Class AA semifinalist.
Lehigh plays in the Patriot League in Division I along with such schools as Army, Navy, Holy Cross and Lafayette.
