Mrs. Arkansas International to speak at LR hospital

To learn more about the risks of heart disease for women, and what is available at the Jack Stephens Heart Center at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock, the public is invited to attend "The Heart of a Woman" seminar at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

Mrs. Arkansas International 2005 Laine Berry of Conway will speak. She has chosen women's heart health as her platform.

She will share how her mother's experience with heart surgery at the Jack Stephens Heart Center convinced her of the need for heart health education for women.

Dr. Anthony Fletcher will present the clinical aspects of heart health for women, along with lifestyle changes that can be made to decrease the risk of heart disease.

Lunch is provided at a cost of $5.50.
