Ms. Lisa Gail Blakemore
Ms. Lisa Gail Blakemore, 32, of Conway died Friday (Sept. 4, 1998) in Conway.
Born Oct. 26, 1965, in Morrilton, daughter of Bill Huie of Conway and the late Phyllis Pack Huie, she was a cafeteria worker at Kimberly-Clark Corp.
Other survivors are her stepmother, Marcella Huie of Conway; and two sisters, Cindy Huie of Conway and Rose Huie of California.
The body will be cremated. Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jewell F. Brannan
Mrs. Jewell F. Brannan, 90, of Greenbrier died Sunday (Sept. 6, 1998) at Salem Place Nursing Center.
Born July 15, 1908, in the Needs Creek community, daughter of William and Susan Whitaker Mills, she was a retired cook at the Conway Human Development Center and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenbrier. She was the widow of Oliver Brannan.
Survivors are a son, Donald Brannan of Greenbrier; a daughter, Sue Batson of Greenbrier; a brother, Grady Mills of Texarkana, Texas; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today at Immanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Gaylon King and the Rev. Bob Slagley officiating. Burial was in Needs Creek Cemetery by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were deacons of the church.
