Pistole, Newman exchange vows in outdoor ceremony

Ashley B. Pistole and David A. Newman, both of Conway, were married June 2. The double-ring ceremony, officiated by Kerry Pool of Bee Branch, was held in the backyard of the bride's parents home, Mark and Christie Paladino of Conway. The bride's father is Dennis Pistole.

The groom's parents are Maury and Cindy Sanchez of Conway and Mr. Lewis Newman of Scotland.

 

The ceremony took place overlooking a pond with a natural arch of two River Birch trees. The altar area was flanked by two black wrought iron candelabra's, ferns and pink hydrangea's. Upon the unity sand altar was placed a swag made of fresh gladiolas, roses and palm leaves.

The guest aisles were decorated with large glass cylinder vases filled with water and floating rose petals.

The bride was escorted down a white lace aisle runner by her father and her stepfather, Mark Paladino.

Recorded music was provided by James McKnight of Morrilton.

She wore a white satin strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline.

The bodice of her gown was embroidered with floral detail and was adorned with clear glass beads, white and clear sequins and pearls.

The back of the gown had satin covered buttons that stopped at her waistline and started an inverted pleat which opened up to a chapel length train.

She wore a single layered, elbow length white french tulle veil, adorned with a scattering of rhinestones.

She wore rhinestone drop earrings and a rhinestone bracelet, borrowed from her mother.

She carried a hand tied, European clutch bouquet of coral roses accented with bear grass.

Around the bouquet, she held a linen handkerchief that was given to her as a newborn in the form of a bonnet.

The maid of honor was Cassie Callahan of Vilonia.

She wore a tea length, strapless, A-line satin gown in Blue Topaz.

Just above the knee, started three layers of sheer Organza also in Blue Topaz.

She carried a posey style bouquet of white roses accented with bear grass.

Bridesmaids wore the same as the maid of honor and were Haley Mitchell, Ashley Sowell and Cara Newman, sister of groom all of Conway and Morgan Naylor cousin of bride, of Vilonia.

The flower girl was Ella Sowell of Conway.

The bestman was Michael Kolb, cousin of groom, of Austin, Texas. Groomsmen were Keith Stobaugh, cousin of groom, of Fort Smith, Darin Whitehead, of Little Rock, Luke Pizzolatto and Derek Wells both of Conway.

Blake and Brandon Paladino, brothers of bride and Justin Magie all of Conway served as ushers.

The mother of the bride wore a tea length soft powder blue two-piece dress with a buttoned bodice with embroidered accents and sheer 34 length sleeves.

The mother of the groom wore a sleeveless, green floral drapeneck tea length dress.

The reception was also held in the backyard of the bride's parents home overlooking a pond.

Guests were seated at round tables scattered throughout the backyard area.

The tables were covered with white lap length cloths.

Some tables were decorated with low round fish bowls with floating candles and blue and silver marbles and other tables were decorated with square bowls filled with tall vases of fresh hydrangeas placed upon mirrors.

Small square votives surrounded all decorations.

The guests were served a buffet including mini hoagie and chicken salad sandwiches, little smokies, mexican rollups with salsa, mango chutney spread, swedish meatballs, mexican layer dip and chips, spinach dip with bread pieces, herb cheese stuffed cherry tomatoes, cheese log and crackers and a fruit tower and fruit dip.

The buffet tables were covered in white floor length cloths with blue topaz cloths puddled around the silver and crystal serving bowls and tall silver candlesticks.

A DVD presentation showing pictures of the couple growing up was played nearby.

Located in the sunroom of the home, overlooking the backyard and pond were the cake tables.

The bride's table was covered in a white floor length cloth with two blue topaz toppers.

The bride's cake was a three tiered white on white cake atop a silver cake stand, accented with fresh flowers and topped with mirrored scrolled initials of the couple.

Nuts, mints and punch all served in silver dishes completed the table.

The groom's table was covered in a floor length black cloth topped with a black tuxedo topper.

The groom's cake was a square two layered, chocolate cake topped with large chocolate curls. Chocolate covered strawberries and coffee were also served.

Cake servers were, Keri Hogan, cousin of bride, Briana Shachmut and Hannah McCalman all of Conway.

Keri Hogan of Conway presided over the brides book and Cheryl Stobaugh, aunt of groom, of Morrilton was wedding coordinator.

After a honeymoon trip to Panama City Beach, Fla., the couple is residing in Conway.
