A four-time convicted foot fondler, who was dubbed the "Toe Suck Fairy" for his 1990 crimes against a Conway woman's feet, was arrested in Fayetteville on Monday night for charges of terroristic threatening. He had allegedly told women he wanted to amputate their feet and suck on their toes.

Michael Robert Wyatt, 38, formerly of central Arkansas, turned himself in to Fayetteville police Monday night after a tipster identified him. His surrender came after a June 30 episode in which a woman reported a man complimented her feet in a Wal-Mart store and asked if she wanted them amputated. He claimed he was a massage therapist and showed her pictures of women with no feet.

Fayetteville police have received at least four reports since June 30 from women who claim a man approached them in stores and complimented their feet or toes.

Wyatt pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and criminal impersonation in Conway in December 1990. He was arrested after pretending to be a podiatrist so he could fondle and suck a Conway woman's toes at a woman's clothing store. He received one year of probation, a $347 fine and one year of court-ordered therapy. His probation was later revoked when he was arrested in Cabot on similar charges.

Wyatt was convicted in Faulkner County in 1991 of terroristic threatening and was sentended to four years in state prison. The sentence was reduced to three years and Wyatt served just more than one year in prison. A convenience store clerk claimed Wyatt told her he would cut off her feet and suck her toes while she bled to death, though Wyatt denied making the statement.

Wyatt also had misdemeanor convictions related to foot fondling in Little Rock and Cabot.
