Henry Zimmerebner, wife Maureen and two daughters were serious about recycling. Their efforts were noticed by United Way of Faulkner County. The family was selected as Volunteer of the Month and were eligible for the Volunteer of the Year title. Henry Zimmerebner was program coordinator for an intensive training team at Conway Human Development Center. His enduring interest in recycling had carried over to the effort at CHDC, where a recycling undertaking was productive in terms of profit and learning for the facility's residents. Mrs. Zimmerebner, an employee at Ida Burns Elementary School, and daughters Jessica and Eryn, shared the Zimmerebner passion for recycling. The family had been involved in working all recycling drives, painting floats, preparing and manning information booths during Toad Suck Daze festivals, taking part in Earth Day celebrations and participating in neighborhood recycling campaigns. Debbie Plopper, special projects coordinator for the City of Conway's recycling program, said "The Zimmerebners have inspired me personally."
