   
Conway Community Arts announces cast of 'The Dining Room'

 Conway Community Arts recently announced the cast for its upcoming production of The Dining Room by A. R. Gurney.
Cast members include Jordy Neill, Erica Summers, Ron Webber, Kelly Webber, Tom McLeod, and Ashley Segalla, all of Conway. The play is under the direction of Carla Grant with stage management by Megan Myers.
The Dining Room consists of a series of vignettes, with actors portraying a different character in each scene. Set in the 1980s, each scene portrays a moment in time, with all scenes taking place in the formal dining room. This look at the typical American family includes a children's birthday party, a Thanksgiving dinner and private conversations between fathers and daughters, mothers and sons, lovers and friends.
Production dates are at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7-9, and Aug. 10 at 2:30 p.m. in McCastlain Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and go on sale July 28. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling 733-6220.
Conway Community Arts Association is a member of the American Association of Community Theaters and has been a cultural presence in Conway for more than 35 years.
