Joshua Patrick Raney was recently awarded an athletic scholarship for baseball to Central Baptist College. Athletic scholarships are awarded by the coach of the specific sport on an individual basis according to performance.
Raney will be a freshman pursuing a bachelor of science degree in biology. He is the son of Pat and Lynn Raney of Mayflower, a 2009 graduate of Mayflower High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Conway.
