Don Owen Sports Center closed until July 13

The Don Owen Sports Center will be closed until July 13 to refinish the gym floors and for other yearly maintenance. The Center will reopen at 6 a.m. July 13, while the Parks and Recreation offices will remain open from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Sports Center.

The Parks and Recreation Department encourages Conway residents to use the McGee Center's track, racquetball courts and basketball courts while the Don Owen Center is closed.

Youth flag football registration for boys/girls first-sixth grade will continue to be held at Don Owen Sports Center from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during the closing. During registration, interested persons are asked to enter the offices through the employee entrance located at the back of the building. The cost to play is $50 per player with registration ending on July 10.

Games will be played at Centennial Soccer Park Aug. 3 through Aug. 28.
