Elizabeth Nicole Engelkes and Benjamin Hunter Hartz, both of Little Rock, have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jack and Cheryl Engelkes of Conway and the granddaughter of Darlene and the late Don Steele of Nashville, and Leatha and the late Charles Engelkes of Conway.

 

She is a 2001 graduate of Conway High School, a 2005 graduate of Ouachita Baptist University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and communications and a 2008 graduate of the William H. Bowen School of Law. While attending OBU, she was a member of the EEE women's social club. She is now employed as an associate with Mitchell, Blackstock, Barnes, Wagoner, Ivers, and Sneddon, PLLC in Little Rock.

The prospective groom is the son of Gregory and Janet Hartz of Little Rock. He is the grandson of William and Betty Hunt of Malvern, and Sarah and the late Marion Hartz of Stuttgart.

He is a 2001 graduate of Catholic High School, a 2005 graduate of Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a 2006 graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Masters Degree in Accountancy. While attending St. Louis University, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. He is now a certified public accountant at JPMS Cox, PLLC in Little Rock.

A 5 p.m. wedding at Carillon Beach, Fla. is planned for Sept. 5.
