Lucinda Kate Kittrell and Jason Alan Deere, both of Little Rock have announced their engagement and upcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Rush Kittrell of Tyler, Texas.

 

She is a 2002 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Tyler, Texas and a 2006 graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in advertising and public relations. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority and is now and account executive for Inviting Arkansas magazine.

The prospective groom is the son of Karen Shinn Bassett of Lonoke and Ron and LuAnn Deere of Conway. He is the grandson of Joe Shinn and Mary Lee Shinn of Lonoke and Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Deere of Benton.

He is a 2002 graduate of Conway High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. While attending college, he was a member of the Arkansas Razorback Baseball Team for two years. He is currently a client analyst for Acxiom Corp.

A wedding ceremony at Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas is planned for Sept. 19.
