Among reports recently generated by the Conway Police Department and Faulkner County Sheriff's Office:
1. Motor vehicle theft at Highways 65 and 25 (North of Greenbrier). A man parked his work vehicle at an Exxon station near the intersection on the morning of June 19. He returned early in the afternoon to find it gone. The vehicle is described as a white 2008 Chevrolet pickup with a dent in the right rear portion of the cab and a dent with red marks on the right rear fender. $500 cash and an "assortment of tools" were inside the vehicle.
2. Residential burglary at 10 block of Rolling Creek Circle (North of Highway 64 between Conway and Vilonia). Deputies were called Thursday by residents who said someone had broken into their home by kicking in the back door and stolen a Dell Inspiron laptop, Playstation 3 and 2 game consoles, $1,000 cash, assorted jewelry and some clothes. The thief or thieves also destroyed the resident's multi-colored hookah.
3. Residential burglary at 1620 Middle Road, Conway (Oak Grove Commons apartments). A resident returned from church to find that someone had entered her home by cutting her window screen and stolen a Pioneer DVD player, gold and silver rings, a CD player and a checkbook.
4. Motor vehicle theft at 3100 block of Virginia Street, Conway. At some point between 2 and 4:30 a.m. Thursday, someone stole a 1989 Chevrolet Caprice Classic. The vehicle is described as being fitted with 24 inch wheels and having two-tone paintwork; black on the top and white on the bottom.

5. DWI/reckless driving at Highway 36 north of Mount Vernon. A deputy was travelling south on Highway 36 toward Mount Vernon at about 9:15 Sunday night when he noticed a white Mitsubishi Eclipse travelling north at an indicated 90 miles per hour with no lights on. The deputy turned around and initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle's driver, 38-year-old Christopher Shane Casteel of Maumelle, was determined to be intoxicated. He was cited for DWI, reckless driving and speeding.
6. Assault near Foothill Drive (Northwest Lake Conway area). A woman called deputies on June 18 to report that her live-in boyfriend had flown into a rage and assaulted her after being unable to locate a joint. As she was calling FCSO, according to the report, the boyfriend "hit himself in the forehead with a cast iron pan and fell to the ground." The report indicates that no arrests were made on the date of the incident.
7. Second-degree battery at 10 block of Patton Circle, Conway. An officer was dispatched to Conway Regional Medical Center Wednesday evening in reference to a juvenile stabbing victim. According to statements made by the 13-year-old male victim and his family, the incident began with a candy ownership dispute between the victim and a female subject of about the same age. Agreement could not be reached and the girl produced a knife. The report indicates that the boy told the girl that surely she wouldn't stab him. "Watch me," she replied, according to the report. The boy sustained a seven-stitch wound on his hand. He told police he wasn't sure if she had intended to cut him or if it had happened accidentally as he tried to push the knife-wielding girl away from him.
