I would like to thank everyone who came to the wedding and reception of Dana Phillps and Jerry Dowdy May 30. The wedding was absolutely beautiful at the home of Sonny and Betty Wiedower. Betty's flowers were all in bloom and it was just gorgeous. You can go to www.passmorephotographpy.com and see some of the pictures. Kathy Passmore did a great job taking pictures.
The reception was in my backyard and the all the meat was cooked by Tracy Dowdy with help from Timmy and Johnny Dowdy. Tracy did an excellent job in preparing all the meat. We had ribs, chicken and barbecued pork. All the food was great what I could remember eating, anyway. I was running in every direction. I would like to thank my dear friends for bringing it all together for us. Thanks to Sue Clay, Charlotte Mode, Alicia Queens, Audrey Dowdy, Dorothy Myers and Jan and Lou Baker from Ohio for pitching in and helping out. I very much appreciated everything you did. I couldn't have done it with out you. We wish Dana and Jerry many happy years to come. They went to Aruba for their honeymoon and had a great time. They left Monday at 6 a.m. and came back late Sunday. And you guessed right I took care of Landon all week. I had ball taking care of him that kind of work is very tiring, but worth it.
Betty Griffith had visitors for the wedding, including Jan and Lou Baker and Oma Decker, all from Cincinnatti, and Linda James and daughter Jessica from Detroit, but they stayed with Doris and were only here a couple of hours. We all enjoyed their company.
We extend sympathy to the Junior Wiedower family in the loss of his wife. Please keep them in your prayers.
Becky and Bill Gray went Hot Springs last weekend to watch her grandson in a rodeo.
Please keep Jane Bearden in your prayers, as she had knee surgery recently.
