UCA signs six in softball

The University of Central Arkansas has signed six softball players to NCAA national letters of intent, including two from Arkansas.

The new signees include: Kristen Coots, a catcher/third baseman from Fort Smith (Northside); Carrie Bowen, a utility player from Rogers; Leslie Clothier, a shortstop from Moore, Okla; Meredith Mills, a catcher/outfielder from Bethany, Okla. (Putnam City West); Marcie Gammill, a middle infielder/outfielder from Sulphur Springs, Texas, and Darcy Kavalir, a pitcher/outfielder from Crowville, La.
