Geneva A. McCrary
Mrs. Geneva A. McCrary, 74, of Quitman died Wednesday (June 4, 1997) at her home.
Born April 5, 1923, in Alabama, a daughter of Samuel and Ida Taylor Wilkerson, she was a resident of Cleburne County for 20 years, the widow of Jerome McCrary, a homemaker and a member of Cedar Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Ray McCrary of Heber Springs, Sammy Uland and Jimmy Uland, both of Ohio; three daughters, Barbara Greer of Beebe, Sheila Uland of Quitman and Julie Franklin of Kansas; three brothers, Eugene Wilkerson, Porter Wilkerson and Samuel Wilkerson; three sisters, Mary Osburn, Louise Baker and Shirley Brownell; 14 grandchildren; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Concord First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Millikins officiating. Burial will be in Goodlow Cemetery at Quitman by Olmstead Funeral Home of Heber Springs.
Ersie Jane Grisham
Mrs. Ersie Jane Howell Grisham, 92, of Conway died Tuesday (June 3, 1997) in Little Rock.
Born Aug. 23, 1904, in Greenbrier, a daughter of Alex and Roxie Anna Shaw Howell, she was the widow of Thomas Grisham and a homemaker.
Survivors are a daughter, Tommie Jane Schendewolf of Santee, Calif.; two sisters, Ruby Henry and Laura Ruth Allison, both of North Little Rock; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Brad Hoshaw officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home.
Joe McCuien Jr.
Joe McCuien Jr., 66, of Mayflower died Monday (June 2, 1997).
Born Aug. 7, 1930, at Mayflower, a son of the late Mary Miller and Joe McCuien Sr., he was a member of Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and a plumber.
Survivors are his wife, Catherine Perkins McCuien; eight sons, Joseph McCuien, Kazs McCuien, Onassiss McCuien, Wayne McCuien and Corado Stubbs, all of Mayflower, Jeff McCuien and Lloyd Glen McCuien, both of Tucson, Ariz., and James Dawson of North Little Rock; and six daughters, Sharla Owens and Dywanna Owens, both of Mayflower, Sharon Johnston and Mary Joyce Arrington, both of North Little Rock, Joann Thomas of Little Rock and Joyce Ann McCuien of Portsmouth, Va.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Palarm Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Friday at Will's Funeral Home in Little Rock.
Mrs. Perrymore
Mrs. Debbie Ruth Perrymore, 44, of Maumelle, sister of Karon Hays of Conway, died Wednesday (June 4, 1997).
Born March 13, 1953, in Memphis, Tenn., she was a daughter of Frank and Frances Buckner of Walls, Miss.
Other survivors are five other sisters, Becky Hylander of Walls, Peggy Nickens of Katy, Texas, Susie Carney of Cordova, Tenn., and Connie Alizadegan and Vickie Welch, both of Memphis.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home in Little Rock with the Rev. John Matthews officiating.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
