Guy-Perkins Class of 1958 holds 50th reunion

The Guy-Perkins Senior Class of 1958 held their 50th class reunion Saturday.

They met at the Guy-Perkins School and toured the grounds, including the old auditorium, old and new gymnasium and classrooms.

After touring the school grounds, the group enjoyed a meal at the Cadron Creek Catfish House in Bee Branch.

Following the meal, the class members enjoyed visiting and sharing pictures of their families and class memorabilia, including pictures of their senior trip to Daytona Beach, Fla.

Class members in attendance were Dorothy (Little) Stevenson and husband, Wayne; Chandler Bollier and wife, Claudette; and Sam Blessing, all of Guy; Billy Henry and wife, Connie, of Quitman; Anna Ruth Henry Kennedy and husband, Wendell, and Howard Glover, Jr., all of Conway; Martha Rowlett Ruple and husband, Harold, of Cabot; and June Brown Romaine and husband, Lawrence, of Vilonia.

Others in attendance were former teachers, W. A. Tucker of North Little Rock, J. C. Merritt and wife Avanelle, of Greenbrier, Coy Glover, Jr. and wife, Lessie, of Conway, and special guest, Thom Battles of Guy.
