Gaines-Smith vows to be said Aug. 6

Cayla Gaines of Vilonia is the bride-elect of Logan Smith, also of Vilonia.

Miss Gaines is a daughter of Carl and Connie Gaines Jr. of Vilonia. Mr. Smith is a son of Tommy and Carol Smith of Vilonia.

The bride-elect is a granddaughter of Carthel and Jean Benton and Carl Gaines Sr. and the late Ouida Fae Gaines, all of North Little Rock.

She graduated in May from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a degree in accounting. She was a member of Beta Alpha Psi.

Miss Gaines is an accounting assistant for Gill Elrod Ragon Owen and Sherman PA.

Mr. Smith is a grandson of Jean Smith and the late Thomas Smith and Dorothy Dillon and the late Ed Dillon, all of North Little Rock.

The prospective groom is a 2003 graduate of Vilonia High School and is an electrician for Nabco Electrical.

Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock will be the setting for the couple's 2 p.m. wedding Saturday, Aug. 6.
