Counseling Associates board presents award to Satterfield

At the recent Counseling Associates, Inc. Board of Directors meeting, Steve Newsome, CEO, presented Marty Satterfield of Perryville with an award to commemorate his nine years of service to the Board.

He served on the board and as officers from 1997-2009.

 

He served as the finance committee chair for a number of years. His slot on the board is being filled by Beth Burgess.

Beth Burgess, an attorney, is a member of the Arkansas and American Bar Associations. She has also served on the University of Central Arkansas Foundation, Perry County Day Service Center, HAVEN Board of Directors, and Kiwanis Club of Conway.

She is Vice-Chairperson of the Perry County Democratic Party.

Beth and her husband, Steve, reside in Perryville with their twin sons, Michael and Ashton. She is the daughter of Herbie and Billie Jo Branscum. Her mother has previously served on the CAI Board.

Steve Newsome, CEO, said Marty will be greatly missed by the Center and the Board, but that we are also very pleased to have Beth representing Perry County.

Counseling Associates, Inc. is a non-profit community mental health center which provides outpatient mental health services in six counties including, Faulkner, Conway, Perry, Pope, Johnson and Yell. Board membership is made up of representation from each of the counties served.
