The Faulkner County Rescue Squad and Damascus Fire and Police departments rescued another allegedly intoxicated man attempting to float the still-flooded Cadron Creek on Wednesday. Joshua Holbrook, 27, of Pottsville was reported missing by another canoer after the two became separated. Rescue workers found him near Twin Groves in his canoe "screaming for help" and apparently lost according to Maj. Andy Shock of the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office. Holbrook was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication.

Three men were rescued from the creek May 2 after their inflatable raft deflated and capsized, leaving them stranded. Two of these men were also arrested and charged with public intoxication after a rescue mission that was complicated by the sinking of a rescue squad boat in a section of rapids. The boat was recovered from the creek earlier this month.
