Conway Rotary to recognize eighth-graders

Conway Rotary Club will recognize outstanding eighth-grade students from Faulkner County schools at noon Thursday in the Fellowship Hall of First Baptist Church.

David Henze and David Jedlicka are chairs of the program that annually salutes future leaders suggested by school counselors and principals. Selections are made by the schools based on the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" with students demonstrating a good scholastic record and participation in civic or community activities.

This year's students from participating schools are:

Mount Vernon-Enola Katie McNinch, daughter of Dale and Kelly McNinch; and Jacob Webb, son of Mark and Susy Webb.

St. Joseph Hannah Chamoun, daughter of Shannon and Paul Chamoun; and Josh Antoine, son of Frank and Diane Antoine.

Mayflower Sarah Sargent, daughter of Lisa and Russell Sargent; and Matthew Post, son of Benji and Tracie Post.

Conway Christian Will Henley, son of Richard and Amanda Henley; and Emily Hill, daughter of Steven and Joanne Hill.

Bob Courtway Caleb Sackhoff, son of Jeff and Annette Sackhoff; and Kennedye Hervey, daughter of Charles Hervey.
