Shakespeare Club
Conway Shakespeare Club will meet at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at the home of Fritzie Vammen, 1838 Tyler. Co-Hostesses will be Martha Johnson and Cecilia Patterson. Molly Jones will present the program entitled "Bees In Face And Fiction".
Chapter BE P.E.O.
Chapter BE of the P.E.O. sisterhood will meet Tuesday, May 13, at 7 p.m. at the home of Ruth Rowell. Kara Smith will serve as co-hostess.
Chapter E, PEO
Chapter E, PEO, will meet Tuesday, May 13, at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Donna Stephens, 2061 Scott Street.
Co-hostesses will be Lauren Maxwell, Megan Dickerson, Mary Hardin and Hilda Malpica. The program will be the state convention report from the chapter delegates, Janet Burks and Carolyn Lewis. Bobbye Brewer will provide information concerning the 75th Anniversary Luncheon.
Progressive Club
The Conway Progressive Club met Monday, May 5 at the home of Jo Anne Henderson on Beaverfork Lake. There were 16 members present and one visitor.
A salad supper was enjoyed by the members.
A short meeting was held to announce this years scholarship which will be presented to a Conway High School 2008 graduate attending the University of Central Arkansas in the fall semester. The members voed to give support to the Bethlehem House this month.
Connie Westbrook inistalled the 2008-09 officers.

DAR chapter
to meet Saturday
Cadron Post chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will meet for a salad potluck luncheon at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at the home of Velma Gould, 2940 Saddletop Road. Members are reminded to bring a favorite salad.
Co-hostesses will be Grace MacLean, Pam Jolly and Edna Lee Sullivan.
Officers will be installed for 2008-2009.
Nancy Rodwell will present the program, "Teaching in Indian Schools."

League of Artists
The Conway League of Artists will meet at 7 p.m., at the Faulkner County Library on May 14, 2008. Gene Hatfield will give a drawing demonstration. All members are asked to bring sketch pads and their favorite drawing medium.
Refreshments and door prize will be provided by Jill Jones.
Awards for the Toadsuck show will be given at the meeting.
