   
Violin and cello lessons offered at UCA
The University of Central Arkansas Community School of Music is currently registering string students for a series of private lessons with Jo Baker Preece and Will Preece.
The Preeces, string players with the Arkansas Symphony, hold masters degrees in violin and cello performance.
This short early summer schedule is an opportunity to study with master string teachers. Lessons will be held on May 12, 19, 26 and June 2, 16 and 23. Lesson times of 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour are still available on Mondays between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Students desiring lessons stressing technique and musicianship from the beginner level through advanced should e-mail Jann Bryant, CSM director, at jannb@uca.edu or contact the CSM office at 450-5755 or 269-0554 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. today and Friday for further information and to register.
