Hendrix's Gardner earns SCAC honor

Michael Gardner of Hendrix earned honorable mention honors on the 2009 men's All Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tennis team.

Voting was conducted by the league's coaches.

Gardner competed at No. 1 singles for the Warriors where he accumulated a 9-8 overall record in the spring season. He was 4-2 against SCAC opponents and 8-2 against NCAA D-III opponents. Gardner went undefeated at No. 1 singles during this year's SCAC Tournament and was named to the all-tournament team.
