Keep Faulkner County Beautiful clean up scheduled for Saturday

Faulkner County residents in six different areas will have an opportunity to clean out their homes and property and dispose of the trash free of charge.

Compliments of the Faulkner County Solid Waste Management District, the Conway City Landfill, and the Keep Faulkner County Beautiful Committee dumpsters will be placed in the following towns for this purpose from 8 a.m. until noon or until the container is full. There will be a maximum of one pick-up load per family and the residents must unload their own material.

Damascus at the Community Building at 17349 Hwy 65 S.

Greenbrier behind the Municipal Building

Mayflower at the vacant lot beside the Regions ATM machine next to I-40 (north of ATM on Hwy 65)

Mount Vernon near the Senior Citizen Center

Vilonia at the Vilonia City Hall

Wooster at the parking area at the Fire Station

Items Accepted:

Household trash, bags of litter, furniture, wading pools, broken toys, old swing sets, and recyclables.

Things not allowed but not limited to:

Paints, chemical or any liquids, appliances, refrigerators, air conditioners, railroad ties, creosote poles, construction site materials, yard waste, and batteries.
