Hendrix College sophomore Jaclyn Herrera and first year Liz Vaughan were named to the 2009 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball All-Tournament team after the Warriors finished third in the league's postseason tournament.

Herrera received her first all-tournament team honor at first base. She batted .417 (5-for-12) with a home run, three RBI and a run scored over the three-game stretch.

Vaughan was one of two pitchers to be named to the squad. She picked up a pair of complete-game wins in the first day of the tournament and started on the rubber in game one on Saturday before closing out the final game for a 2-1 tournament record. Vaughan totaled 25.0 innings, five earned runs, a 1.40 ERA and seven strikeouts in her four appearances.

DePauw University's Megan Soultz was a unanimous selection to the 2009 SCAC all-tournament squad - one of only two student-athletes to appear on all six ballots. In the championship game, Soultz allowed just one hit in recording her 13th shutout of the season.
