Southwestern Energy Company is continuing support of local organizations that protect and serve the communities where they work through their Everyday Heroes grant program.
Police departments in Guy and Damascus are each receiving contributions of $2,500 and a $5,000 donation will be made to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office in May.
The company created the program to salute and honor organizations that safeguard their communities, including volunteer fire departments in the Fayetteville Shale.
Southwestern Energy is contributing a total of $12,500 to police, sheriff and volunteer fire departments in Faulkner County through their Everyday Heroes program.
"We applaud the dedication and commitment that members of law enforcement and volunteer fire departments make to those they serve," said Andy Miller, director of government and community relations, Southwestern Energy Company. "Our Everyday Heroes grant program not only gives us a great opportunity to thank them for their work but to enhance their programs with a monetary contribution."
