News Release on Palm Beach Atlantic University website.

WEST PALM BEACH - Palm Beach Atlantic University trustees today voted unanimously to accept the recommendation of the presidential search committee to appoint Lu Hardin, J.D. as PBA's seventh president. President Hardin begins his term of service July 1, 2009.

More former Hogs heading to NFL

FAYETTEVILLE Former Arkansas offensive lineman Robert Felton agreed to deal as an undrafted free agent with the Buffalo Bills, the university announced Monday evening.

Meanwhile, former Arkansas middle linebacker Weston Dacus said Monday that the Kansas City Chiefs have invited him to their minicamp this weekend, and he could be signed as an undrafted free agent if he does well at the tryout.

"They're flying me out. I'm getting all expenses paid for," Dacus said. "They told me they're real excited about me coming out, so it's looking good for me so far."

Dacus was among several starters from last year's Arkansas team who weren't taken during this past weekend's NFL Draft, including Felton and strong safety Matt Hewitt.

Dacus said he was close to getting a free-agent deal with the Indianapolis Colts or the New England Patriots, but both opportunities have fallen through for the moment.

"I've still got some options open," Dacus said. "I haven't signed anything yet."

Hewitt said early Monday afternoon he hadn't reached a free-agent deal with an NFL team, adding that it's "kind of chaos right now."

Arkansas cornerbacks Michael Grant and Matterral Richardson agreed to free-agent deals after the draft concluded Sunday night. Grant signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, while Richardson agreed to a deal with the Washington Redskins.
