LAKE CHARLES, La. McNeese State won the rubber match 5-3 over Central Arkansas in Southland Conference softball action at Cowgirl Diamond on Sunday afternoon.
The Cowgirls (26-26, 17-10) outhit the Bears (23-28, 13-14) 10-8 in the final game of the series.
Katie McGregor led UCA by going 3-for-3 with a pair of doubles.
Bethany Stefinsky (16-14) gained the win by allowing eight hits, three runs to go with five strikeouts. Hill (13-15) lasted three innings and gave up six hits, two earned runs and a walk. She had three stHilli rikeouts, moving her season total to 155, a UCA record. McGregor pitched two innings of relief and allowed a hit.
The Bears will play at Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Tuesday in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
