Hannah E. Dollar of Damascus has accepted an academic scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas beginning with the 2009 fall term. She plans to major in physical therapy and is the daughter of Todd Dollar of Damascus and Rhonda Carter of Vilonia.

Dollar will graduate from South Side Bee Branch High School, where she is a member of the foreign language club, senior Beta Club, FFA, FCS and the basketball, softball and track teams, a 4-H Teen Leader, on the honor roll and senior class president.

Kyle Sackhoff of Conway has been awarded an Honors College Academy Scholarship to study at the University of Arkansas.

Sackhoff is a senior attending Conway High School. Honors College Academy Scholarships are among the university's most prestigious awards, providing up to $4,000 per year toward tuition, fees and on-campus room and board to top students from Arkansas. Sackhoff plans to major in engineering and is the son of Jeff and Anette Sackhoff. While in high school, Sackoff has been involved in the National Honor Society, Beta Club and the Conway band program. He was also awarded for excellence in Spanish by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.
