Liz Vaughan fired a four-hit complete-game shutout to lift Hendrix to a doubleheader sweep Wednesday over University of the Ozarks in softball.
The Warriors won the first game 7-0 and the second game 13-8.
Vaughan and Jacclyn Herrera went a combined 7-for-8 in the second game with four runs and six RBI.
Hendrix improved to 20-15 overall while Ozarks fell to 5-27. The Warriors will take on Birmingham-Southern College in a four-game series this weekend to close out the 2009 regular-season schedule.
Vaughan tossed her 11th complete of the year to improve to 10-2. She scattered four hits, walked two, struck out five batters and left five Eagles stranded on base.

The Warriors set the tone in the opening inning with a four-run rally on two hits and three errors. Hendrix increased its advantage on a one-run double to center field by Sara Hunter in the second inning before Hanna Braden highlighted a two-run third inning with an RBI single to center.
Trace Grinnell led the Warriors with three hits, while Braden collected two hits, scored twice and drove in a run.
The Warriors broke the second game open with a five-run fifth, highlighted by a two-run homer by Herrera and a two-RBI single by Brooke Monson. Vaughan, 2-for-4, later added a two-run homer.
Herrera was the winner in relief.
