Amber Lanelle Nabholz and David Justin Wooten, both of Vilonia, were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Saturday (March 23, 2002) at Friendship Baptist Church in Conway.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Allan Nabholz of Conway. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. David Wooten, all of Conway.
Ken Jordan of Conway officiated at the double-ring ceremony.
The church was decorated in white lights wrapped with gold tulle. The altar featured candelabras on either side and the baptistery was decorated with white candles and gold tulle symbolic of family and friends that had passed away.
Ancel Nabholz of Conway, brother of the bride, and Luke Jackson of Bigelow, stepbrother of the groom, were candlelighters.
The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. She wore a strapless A-line dress of white satin with a sheer overlay. The bodice of the dress and the waist were embellished with sequins and pearls. She wore a three-layer white veil decorated with similar beading that was secured by a pearl comb.
The bride wore a pair of princess-cut diamond earrings, a tiny gold bracelet given to her by her older sister for her 16th birthday and a pearl bracelet, a gift from her grandmother. The bride carried a nosegay of white roses, stephanotis and greenery secured by sheer white ribbon. The bride also carried a white handkerchief given to her by her mother on the day of the wedding.
Melissa Jones of Bryant was maid of honor and Mrs. Craig Rogers of Conway was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Allison Maxwell of Benton, and Mrs. Keith Mynott and Mrs. Roger Tipton, both of Conway and sisters of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Arianna Nabholz of Conway, sister of the bride, and Hannah Curtis of North Little Rock, cousin of the bride.
The attendants wore ankle-length dresses of wine velour. They carried nosegays of red, pink and apricot roses, buttercream stock, fresh coffeebean and lavender lisianthus secured by gold ribbon. The junior bridesmaids wore knee-length black velour dresses and carried smaller versions of the bridesmaids' bouquets.
Skylar and Landon Tipton, nephews of the bride, served as ringbearers. Brooks Tipton, also a nephew of the bride, carried the Bible. They are all of Conway. Eve Hall of Cheyenne, Wyo., niece of the groom; Lily Mynott of Conway, niece of the bride; and Isabelle Rogers of Conway served as flower girls.
Kris Clifft of Conway acted as best man. Groomsmen were James Matyja and Gabe Mahan, both of Conway, and Christopher Curtis of North Little Rock, cousin of the bride. Matt Jackson of Conway, stepbrother of the groom, served as usher.
A reception followed in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. James Hall of Cheyenne, Wyo., sister of the groom, and Tracy Nabholz of Conway, cousin of the bride, presided at the bride's book.
After a trip to Branson, Mo., the couple will make their home in Vilonia.
