For the past six weeks I have been taking a Citizens Academy Class with the Faulkner County Sheriff's Department. I would like to thank all the law enforcement and everyone that participated and attended the class. I recommend every citizen to take this class and learn what they do and how we as citizens can help them.

Last Monday night I went to watch the daughter of Angie Dowdy, Hanna play softball at Guy-Perkins School. Way to go Hanna from your Aunt Amanda, cousins Max and Brady Hooten, Nanna Kathy and PaPa Rich Gronke. Her grandmother from California was there to see her play to along with her Dad.

Please keep Sam Blessing in your prayers. My understanding he is being moved this week to Greenbrier Rehab. Also keep Billy Oscar Fielder in your prayers he was taken to the Conway Regional Hospital last Saturday. Hillary Tennyson will be having surgery on April 14. We will keep her in our prayers too.

Come out and eat breakfast at Greenbrier Events Center Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Your donation will help the Greenbrier Civitan Club provide help to the community. There will be a yard sale inside and hot dogs served at lunch.

The Faulkner County Day School /Work Force will host their Annual Omelet Breakfast at the Antioch Church off of 286 on the service road on Saturday.

After you get your bellies full come out to Conway Human Development Center Park and watch or volunteer to help Special Olympics Athletes with their Bocce Tournament at 9 a.m.

Billy Oscar Fielder, husband of Marcelle Fielder and father of Dana, Lana, Greg Vicky and Gary Fielder passed away on Tuesday afternoon.Billy Oscar was another long time resident of Guy.He will be missed.
