FCC/DD Supported Work Program helps dreams come true for disabled
EXPANDING EMPLOYMENT, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES
The Faulkner County Council on Developmental Disabilities, (FCC/DD) Supported Work Program was developed in 1987 with a mission to improve the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities by assisting them with their dream of working in the community.
Arkansas Rehabilitation Services provides eligibility certification to FCC/DD to do job development, job placement, on-the-job training and follow-along service to persons 18 years of age and older who, due to the severity of their disability, are not able to function independently on the job without supports. Without Long Term Support Services, retraining, intervention and counseling being provided, these individuals could not maintain continued employment
What services does FCC/DD provide?

You can make a difference
Supportive Employment is an exciting, innovative approach to employment for persons with developmental disabilities. As an employer we know you are committed to the improvement of your community and the people in it. When you hire a person with developmental disabilities, you get a reliable and dependable worker and you make it possible for the individual to be gainfully employed, self-supporting, a taxpayer and an independent citizen of our community.
