   
UCA's academic outreach department to offer classes

The University of Central Arkansas Academic Outreach department has scheduled community-oriented classes throughout March.
Home Landscape Maintenance with instructor Krista Kugler-Quinn will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. March 31, April 7, 14 and 21 at Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center. The cost for the class is $85 with early bird fees of $75. The class will provide homeowners with knowledge needed to keep their landscape maintained, looking more healthy and attractive.
Drawing Pencil Portraits with instuctor Robby R. Burton will meet from 6 to 8 p.m. April 3, 10, 17, 24 and May 1 and 8 at Brewer-Hegeman Conference Center. Cost for the class is $75 with early bird fees of $65. Material fee is $15. Drawing pencil portraits is a two-part course. In part one, the students will learn drawing basics of perspective, sighting and shading. In part two, the principles learned in part one will be applied to portrait drawings.
