When Harley Deny Inthisone of Danville allegedly fired the shot that struck Conway Police Department patrolman Matthew Kimery late Tuesday night, he was standing in the same 2515A West Martin Street residence where, about two years earlier, he stabbed a Greenbrier man.
Inthisone, 27, of 1307 J St., Danville, according to a Faulkner County Sheriff's Office arrest/dispositoin report, pleaded guilty to battery and residential burglary charges on June 21, 2007.
According to CPD reports of the 2007 incident at this residence, Inthisone was trying to kick down a door to get at two young women who were inside hiding in a closet at about 3:30 a.m.
These women called 9-1-1 and a male friend who lived nearby. This male friend, a UCA student and graduate of Greenbrier High School, was stabbed by Inthisone when he responded to the call for help. Inthisone fled the scene and was arrested by Dardanelle Police Department officers about an hour and a half later.
Inthisone had served about 21 months of a 36-month probation for these offenses. He also served about three months in the Arkansas Department of Correction for 1999 commercial burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia charges in Yell County, according to ADC document examiner Donna Knight.
His charges for Tuesday night's shooting and Wednesday morning's standoff will likely include two counts of criminal attempt to commit capital murder. Kimerly was in stable condition Wednesday
