Lady Falcons win homeschool basketball national tourney

OKLAHOMA CITY The Faulkner County Homeschool Lady Falcons defeated the Houston Wolverines 67-52 Friday to win the 16-under 5A national title in the National Homeschool Basketball Tounament here.

Maura Ferrell led the Lady Falcons with 18 points. Haley Bolieau, Libby Quattlebaum and Jennifer Passmore all scored in double digits with 17, 16, and 12 points, respectively. Lexi Dather finished out the scoring with four points.

Bolieau, Dather, Ferrell and Quattlebaum were named to the all-tournament team. Sharon Parks was awarded the Christian Character Award.

Other team members include McKenzie Ferrell, Anna and Emily Helm, Katie Oslica, Emily Turner, Krishada, Krishandra and Kristiana Watson. The Lady Falcons are coached by Eddie Watson and Roger Quattlebaum.
