We were saddened to see that Mrs. T's has closed her doors. We know that a restaurant can make it in Guy if they would stay open.

Last Sunday, March 8, a neighbor decided to burn some brush. The winds picked up and the fire got out of control, burning many acres of hay pastures and woods. Carl Baker, the Guy and Damascus volunteer fire departments as well as the Damascus police plus other neighbors came to my aid to put the fire out. It was a huge task, and I don't even know most of them, but I am forever grateful that they stopped the fire from getting to my barn (filled with hay) and house. I wish I could personally thank each and everyone of them. I also want to thank Keith and Brad Mode, two of my adopted extended family members from the Mode Clan, for coming to my aid. You are always there for me and it means more than words can express. Once again, thank you to everyone involved.
