Matlower splits baseball games

The Mayflower baseball team split a pair of baseball games Monday and Tuesday.
Jared Williams recorded his second straight shutout performance of the season in helping the Eagles take a 6-0 win over Little Rock Hall on Tuesday. He struck out seven in the effort.
Eric Johnson finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.
Monday, Mayflower fell 5-1 to Pottsville. Shane Folwer struck out eight in a complte-game effort.
The Eagles will take on Clinton at 4 p.m. Friday at the Dover Invitational.
