VILONIA Central Baptist College routed Crowley's Ridge, 12-0 and 20-0 in softball Wednesday.

The Lady Mustangs (11-5) scored eight runs in the second inning of the first game. Shannon Pickard was 2-for-3 with two triples and four RBI, while Hailey King and Kayla Hawkins each added two hits.

Schylar Dake (5-3) picked up the win having seven strikeouts and allowing no runs on two hits.

In the second game, senior pitcher Claire Collom (6-1) was almost perfect. She tossed a no-hitter, and allowed only one walk. Collom faced only 16 batters in the five-inning game (due to run rule). She struck out 14 of the 16 Crowley's Ridge batters.

The Lady Mustangs offense used another big second inning by scoring 12 runs and added 6 runs in the fifth to complete the 20-0 victory.
