Conway High School FBLA attends spring conference

Jan. 29, the Conway High School West Chapter of FBLA traveled to the University of Central Arkansas to compete in the District V Spring Conference. Twenty-eight students went and out of those 14 placed in the top six in their categories.

The students who placed in the top of their subjects advance to the state level, hosted in Little Rock at the Convention Center March 27 through 29.

"We are very excited and proud of all of our competitors and are pumped for the state conference," the group said.

The following students placed at UCA: In Accounting I Andrew Osmon placed first. In Accounting II, Jessica Gambill placed first. In Banking and Financial Systems, Alex Dunn and Haylee Black placed second. In Business Procedures, Ryan Bynum placed first. In Computer Problem Solving, Jerome Edquist placed second. In Impromptu Speaking, Karla Jaquez placed fourth. In Parliamentary Procedure, Nick Schroeder, Brittany Ray, Kristin Gangluff and Luke Shock placed first. In Web Site Development, Kyle Kennedy, Brittany Starke, and Paige Russell placed first. Also, Trey Collins was elected District V President.
