Beloved mother, Mildred Alewyne Dunn, a lifetime resident of Faulkner County, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 13, 2004, at Heritage Living Center.
Born May 13, 1912, in Faulkner County, to the late George R. Alewyne Sr. and Sara (Snow) Alewyne, she was 91 years old and a member of First United Methodist Church of Conway. Mrs. Dunn was a retired teacher of the Pulaski County School District.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl H. Dunn.
She is survived by her daughters, Frances Dunn Mocini and son-in-law, Peter, of Saugatuck, Mich., and Mary Ann Jones, and son-in-law, Rick Jones of Baton Rouge, La.; a brother, George R. Alewyne Jr. of Shreveport, La.; nine grandchildren, Rachel Tyra and husband, Scott, Matthew Mocini and wife, Julie, John Farris and wife, Georgiana, Joshua Mocini and wife, Natalie, Melanie Smith, Susan Mocini, Bryan Jones, Jason Jones and Sarah Jones; 10 great-grandchildren, Emily and Beth Tyra, Alexaner Mocini, Colin and Cooper Farris, Ryne Smith, Tabitha, Dominic and Warren Smith, and Zephram Bowler.
Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2004, with memorial services following at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Conway.
Visitation will be at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway on Monday, Feb. 16, 2004, from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the building fund of the First United Methodist Church of Conway, or to Hendrix College in Conway.
