1. Attempted burglary at 4800 block of Stockton Road. A resident looked through her peep hole to see a tall black male trying to open her door with a key that was on a large key ring. She held on to the dead bolt and blocked several entrance attempts before the man ran to a blue Honda Accord parked in the driveway.
2. Welfare concern reported at Quality Childcare. A mother picked up her son and said she noticed bleach on the front of his shirt. A woman had been using bleach to clean there that day, the complainant said. The mother pulled her son from the day care and is seeking another business to care for the child, because she thinks the Quality firm doesn't "take proper care there," according to the report.
3. Burglary at 200 block of Willow Street. A contractor who had been remodeling an apartment here said the place was broken into overnight. Missing was $500 in tools. Means of entry unconfirmed.
4. Theft from vehicle at 1900 block of Hogan Lane. Missing was $1,163 in property. A rear driver side door was broken.
5. Burglary at 400 block of South Donaghey Avenue. Missing was $950 in clothes and electronics. Suspect(s) entered through an unlocked window.
6. Theft from boat docked at Lake Beaverfork. Missing were 10 fishing poles.
7. Vehicle theft at 1600 block of Westlake Drive gray 1987 Chevrolet Caprice, Arkansas license plate 104-JGW.
