Nathan Brown, UCA's record-setting quarterback from last season, will be presented the 2008 Marvin Delph Award for sportsman of the year. UCA coach Clint Conque will accept the award for him because Brown will be unable to attend because of preparation for the upcoming NFL draft.

Jim Schneider, former reporter for the Log Cabin Democrat and former sports information director, assistant athletic director and alumni director at UCA, will be presented the 2008 Joe B. McGee Award for meritorious service. He will be introduced by Bill Johnson, the inaugural recipient last year.
