University of Central Arkansas quarterback Nathan Brown and defensive end Larry Hart have been named to the College Sporting News Fabulous Fifty Division I Football Championship Subdivision All-American team.

Brown, a senior from Russellville, and Hart, a junior from Madison, Miss., were named to the first-team All-America team, two of only four Southland Conference players to be honored among the 45 first-teamers.

UCA senior tight end Marquez Branson was named an honorable mention. UCA head coach Clint Conque was one of two honorable mentions for the Coach of the Year Award, which went to national champion Richmond coach Mike London, who led the Spiders to the national title.

Brown, the most prolific passer in Arkansas collegiate history, was the SLC Player of the Year, while Hart was named the SLC Defensive Player of the Year. Conque was named the SLC Coach of the Year after guiding the Bears to a 10-2 overall record and a league-best 6-1 conference mark.
