Key Club helps ILS

I want to recognize a group of young people who are very special to the adults with disabilities who live at the ILS apartment complex.

The members of St. Joseph's Key Club have been good friends to the folks who live here. Each year, they bring refreshments and spend a whole day helping residents to decorate our entire facility.

Members of the club include Matthew Moix, Marissa Freda, Aaron Tratz, Erna Blom, Katie Scherry, Stacey Ross, Sarah Mallett, Kelly Turner, Lacey Schichtl, Kyra Shachmut, Kyle Shachmut, Nakole Neumeier, Casey Goodwin, Jeremy Nabholz, Jake Goodwin, Brett Reinhard, Caleb Elsinger, Leo Hum, Anney Baker, Natalie Kordsmeier, Erin Beacham and Nick Zapolas.

The group's sponsor is Betsy Beacham.

Not only do they stay a whole day visiting and working, these young people come back after the holidays to pack up all the decorations for the next year. They should be commended for taking time to help their neighbors.
