Ott second in Missouri event

EUREKA, Mo. — Casey Ott of Conway finished second in the girls division Thursday in the American Junior Golf Association’s division tournament at The Legends Course here.

 

Ott has three rounds of 72-72-74 (218) to finish behind Brooke Matthews of Rogers, who surged to victory with a 69-67-73 (2090.

Lauren Chappell of Charleston, Ill., former of Conway, finished four at 78-74-72 (224).

Conway’s Roberts among leaders

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — With a first-round 66, Carson Roberts begins Friday’s second round in second place in the Arkansas State Golf Association’s Amateur Championships at the DeSoto Course here.

Hunter Hickingbotham leads at 65.
